Really enjoying seeing your Airfix project grow – the figures look great and it just goes to show there's a lot of life left in these…mmm….fifty years plus old figures!

It wasn't that the figures were bad – "we" just weren't good enough at painting them!

Those RHA figures look are great as cannoneers in ACW "shell" jackets,particularly federal issue! Civil war guns were fired by lanyard though, just sayin' YouTube link

Paul, I have a load of the old Airfix CivilWar figuires from when MPC was making them in nearly hard plastic. I will never live long enough to get around to them. If you would like them contact me at Deleted by Moderator, put Airfix ACW in the title. I will be happy to send them to a good home.
