Short answer is no one knows. (It was my MA thesis.) Leavenworth says 1st Brigade brought 700 men to battle: Jessup says 1,200 and they were both eyewitnesses. The 9th was reported by a contemporary to have brought 150 rank and file to Lundy's Lane and the 25th 350, but they both had about as many men in the campaign. It COULD be that the fatigue details for the 9th were that much higher, of course. (Scott went out very quickly and the men on fatigue evidently never caught up. If I had to guess, I'd put the 11th and 22nd at 200 R&F each or a little over. The 6th certainly wasn't present as an independent maneuver unit. If they had any elements, there, they'd be folded into the strength of one of the other four.

Remember there were a lot of detachments. Scott's Brigade had 1,777 all ranks present and fit for duty on the 23rd, 38 on extra duty and 288 sick and wounded, so the regiments went into battle well under strength.

Hope this helps.

Graves book on Lundy's Lane p. 257 gives the following strengths for Scott's Brigade: 9th 200, 11th 200, 22nd 300 and 25th 380.

There was no 6th regiment in Scott's Brigade nor in Brown's Right Division.
