..of course "compete" might mean breaking down on its first formal public appearance….

Well, the Ukrainians do know a lot about building tanks, since much of Russia's armor was produced there.

…and they make a lot of the 1/72 scaled prebuilt plastic armor :) Hope we get this in playable format soon.

Not convinced about any tank called t- Rex…..

Mako1117 Jan 2017 8:58 a.m. PST

Certainly a bit more catchy for me at least, than the T-15, Armata.

Chokidar17 Jan 2017 9:14 a.m. PST

..certainly looks neat, and as you say Mako, the technical knowledge should be there…

Claims to be a reworking of existing tanks, T-64 & T-72 series….the drivetrain etc already proven, cramming 3 crew in the front seems a bit tight tho'!
Replacement turret and safer ammo storage…..lessons from the wars in Iraq and current experience in Ukraine….note the raised protection for the turret ring area on the side aspect too.

The Ukraine did/does have a huge AFV production capabilities. And with both side using the same types … it would be easier to get spare parts, etc., … evil grin

Hrmmm… if these really start selling, the US Army might need to step up the replacement for the Abrams…
