Enter for a chance to win a year of supporting membership! I am offering up a chance to win a year of supporting membership on TMP for anyone who takes the challenge to post regularly in the new message board What I Did This Week Message Board. Here are the rules: 1. You must be a supporting member. 2. You must PM (private message) me via TMP your intent to participate by February 28. 3. You must post 1/month on average. 4. You must make your first post by February 28. 5. You must post at least 12 times on twelve different days with twelve different updates. 6. You must post all your updates in a single thread. 7. You must PM me a link to your thread once it is made. 8. Any posts already made this year may count if you PM me the links. 9. You must imbed an image representative of your activity in each post. 10. If you whine or cause me any grief you are disqualified. 11. I am the sole arbiter of any issue.
This is a private endeavor on my part to encourage forum members to participate, share their activities in pictures, and my selfish desire to return something to the hobby. The winner will be selected at random. The challenge ends December 31, 2017. GLHF Snafu ___________________ Move, Shoot, Assault Miniature Machinations |

Awesome and cool! I choose to disqualify myself on the basis that I am compulsive aout starting new threads for every update, that they may be crossposted to the appropriate additional forums. |

Does continuing to dither, and not paint, prep, or prime minis count? Does working up miniatures to purchase want lists, and TO&E research count too? |

This is a very interesting and notion, and thoughtful to boot. Does continuing to dither, and not paint, prep, or prime minis count? I'm good to go for that. It's lifting that big, heavy brush that's the hard part. Does working up miniatures to purchase want lists, and TO&E research count too? That's the funnest part! I often make myself finish a phase to completion, before I'm allowed to fully plan out the next. I find it very motivating. |

@Coyote Start as many threads as you want, just add the same to the One Thread to Rule Them All. Its the only reasonable way I can look to see who gets their 12 posts in. |

I'm far less militant, and regimented about that. Going over the inventory checklists, and order forms is a regular pastime though. Always good to see a bit of progress, especially when non-existent minis you must have for your games/armies finally become available after a long period of hoping for that. |

I like the idea and I am in. PM sent. I'm sure I can manage a post a month, but i'll shoot for one every week or 2. -Stew |

OK, sign me up. I had already thought of using the "What I Did This Week" Board as a kind of personal "TMP Blog" where I would post my stuff on the same thread week after week anyway. Then, like a lot of things, I got distracted by something else and all but forgot about it. So, thanks for the reminder! Now, I just have to re-figure out how to post photos without using flicker, photobucket , or similar. I think I did it once. |

Fine, you win. I will play by your rules :-) PM sent. Less about winning, though, and more about participation. |

Making links is challenging enough for me; I don't have any idea how to imbed images, and directions probably aren't going to help me any. |

PrivateSnafu, excellent challenge. For those who need a tip on how to easily embed an image in their post, follow this thread: TMP link |
