Just got back home and had a wonderful time down in Augusta, Georgia and the fine folks who put on Siege of Augusta every year. My gaming gang made the trip, five of us this time. We did not run any games and just decided to participate as players and shoppers. Bob Moon put on an excellent 40 mm Game of Muskets and Tomahawks which my buddies and I enjoyed. Other than that did some shopping and enjoyed getting to see so many friends again.

I'll second the comments on Bob Moon's setup. Looked fantastic, and a fun, engaging scenario. In my time slot, we used his own adaptation of Brother Against Brother. I like the smaller, more laid back atmosphere, and plan on going again next year.

It was also nice to chat with you and nazrat, and meet some new people from the Charlotte area.

Nazrat,I and a few of our other Charlotte area gang plan to run games next year. It is good to be back in the area. It is a nice convention and the Double Tree is a pleasant hotel to say in. Plenty of food vendors near by to drive to. I was blown away by the folks running the Bolt Action tournament. Those were some incredible tables! I got some excellent ideas for making terrain.

Bob Moon always puts on an impressive game.

I would enjoy playing in a game in the Charlotte area. I am interested in making new connections with some folks that play historical miniature games.
