I was starting to pull an order together when I saw the post from Scale Creep. I also noticed the website hadn't been updated since October. Are they still in business?

G'day Dennis + y'all,

Yes very much !.. have been super busy with all sorts of things, and you've caught me at a time when I've been very social (right now, I've just been camping with my little brother and family, they departed only a few hours ago)..
I know my "website updating" is the task I suck at the most. But I'm generally pretty good at responding to PM's (and enjoy more ..I'm old-school like that) and am overdue for a website update and upgrade ..but have prioritised family, friends and beer drinking in the last weeks. …this 'buys' me kudos + patience with SWMBO for the rest of the year. hahaha!

I made a conscious decision to stop supplying resellers about a year ago. This is because I'm producing more and better than Flashpoint Miniatures has ever done before, and want to improve 'what's in a pack' ..because I can. Problem is ..if resellers are holding stock ..and I go and change it ..then they have 'obsolete stock' …and this is not fair for resellers (good people like Mark at Scale Creep) who purchased their stock in good faith. …so I have been quietly improving anyway ..and awaiting a 'tipping point'(..about now maybe) when I can trumpet the good work behind the scenes I've been up to .. without prejudicing other good people's businesses.

.. I am privileged to be the owner/operator of Flashpoint Miniatures, … great 15mm figures and models, plenty of them, …and the genre (the Vietnam/American War) I find the most consistently fascinating…and I intend to be doing this for quite a while yet.

Lots happening ! I won't bore you here with my multiple plans for world domination via 15mm Vietnam + Modern minis. I've got a few things to post off that 'came in while I was away under canvas, a few PM's to respond to, I'm off wargaming this weekend with 'mates, and away to a 'Con at the end of the month. ..so betta get some house and yard chores done and play with the kids a bit too .

Always happy to chat and share, most often lurking here link or here at TMP, although struggle with responding from my smartphone (big fat fingers and no patience with tech gadgetry), so wait 'till I'm in front of laptop… and can offer some 'working eye-candy' here link

Website update soon ! …promise !

You're a good egg, Jimmi! Most wouldn't be even slightly concerned for resellers, good on you! As always, can't wait to see the new stuff!
