Which rules would you recommend to someone who primarily plays games solitaire?

DBA rgular or big battle, the set-up and command pip system works great for solo play.

Pulse of Battle from the Piquet system. It is run on a card system (note I did not say driven) and is a system that runs extremely well as solo.

Armati and DBA both good

DBA and Big Battle DBA.

To the Strongest would also work quite well solo due to the card activation syustem – I have done my playtest games with it that way.

Played several games of Hail Caesar solo and enjoyed them.

I like my own rules :-) Ancient Battlelines Clash. Designed to play solo and even has a programmable opponent.

I have played over 100 games with these rules and works well solo.

I would recommend Hail Caesar Rules. Hope it helps.

Take care

"To the Strongest" and "Sword and Spear" both work well due to the activation systems.

Rally Round the Kings actually has true solo rules without having to "make the best decision for the opponent" or "draw a card to see when you move". Also has 160+ historical armies to choose form. Now at Rebel Minis.

Oh, there they are. I couldn't find them in your webstore Ed.

I have gamed solo with both Basic Impetus and Dux Bellorum, and had a good time with it.

I use Hail Caesar and it works very well for me solo.
