Love them. Huge fan of circular basing and what is a revelation for me…. a cuirassier officer with gold fittings, lace etc, not silver, because he is a general! I was going to be so clever and say ADCs plumes should surely be white, as attached to the staff, by definition. Glad I did check first….you got that right too! |

Thanks for the comments guys:) Deadhead: Yupp, skyblue plumes! Those French knew how to make a grand apperance dident they! Pink, Amaranth, Aurore, Skyblue, Crimson, all considered suitably martial looking colors:) My mate just described a French Guard Horse Artillery trumpeter in parade dress he was painting up as "looking like an extra from Miami Vice"! |
