…to everyone who bought something from me this weekend. We got hammered by a snowstorm today and there's more coming, so it will be a few days before I can get your packages out in the mail. At the very latest, everything will be in the mail by Saturday and I will send tracking numbers to each of you. Thanks for your patience!

Whatever happened to the Post Office's motto, "through rain, sleet, snow, and dead of night"…..?

I added the last four words, for good measure.

Yes, I know it's not really their motto, but it did used to get bandied about back in the day.

You need one of those home printer/post offices, so you can let your mail carrier do all the trudging through the cold, wet stuff.

Mako, I think the problem is that Javelin can't get to the PO because of the weather.

I one of the guys waiting for something from Javelin but NOT blaming him one little bit. Here in eastern Idaho I've got over 2 feet of snow standing in my yard and another 3" expected tonight. It was -17 3 days ago and then 38 degrees yesterday. Below freezing again last night and high of 32 today met everything that slushed yesterday is sheer ice today. Got a few decades of driving experience in these conditions, but still not making any unnecessary trips out either!

Exactly, which is why he needs to postman to come to him.

I wouldn't that at all, since my postal carrier is a rather attractive young lady…
