I really enjoy viewing a well designed model or war scene diorama but there's something about this that I find disturbing.

Maybe I've watched Schindler's List too recently but an ornament decoration of a pair of SS sitting triumphantly on their Tiger is kind of pathetic to me.

Even if the Tiger itself was on view I might give it the benefit of the doubt but this looks too much like nazi hero worship to me

Wittmann was the Nazi poster boy…

Though Bobby Woll wasn't at Villiers Bocage.

Excellent sculpting work.

I agree with War Panda….this bizarre worship of Wittman the dedicated Nazi does not need any encouragement.

I agree with WP and Sebastian.

regarding Nazi worship, it's not just that the Tiger is not wholly present, it's that it's a non-combat setting.

So you can't use it in a wargame, what are you going to do with it? Just sit back and admire it? Pretty strange…

When I saw the title I actually was pretty excited, thinking it would be some sort of starter set. You know, a couple German tanks, some Brit tanks and infantry, a few bombed out houses, all in one package. Guess not.

Jack

Odd Wittman appears to have the Heer cap badge rather than the deaths head badge.
