Can anyone confirm the colour of officer's greatcoats in the Danish Army during the Napoleonic period please? |

I am away from home but will check my sources when I get back. The Cavalry had red overcoats and capes, at least at one point. |

I would have to look at my sources but if I remember correctly, it would seem that the Danish Army's greatcoats varied between red and grey, with the cavalry having red and the infantry and artillery being issued grey. I'll have to check though. |

Infantry officers, except jægere, had red overcoats. However in 1813 it changed to grey as the infantry. However probably only came into effect after the ceasefire in 1814. Cavalry were red. |
