Just got outta the DH, for expressing my opinion on some things going on in my Country, I want to say a BIG "Thank You" to all of those who sent me PM's to let me know that I ain't the only one who feels the same way! I don't really give a damn about going to the DH for telling the truth. Seems like that's the way most political prisoners are treated Worldwide. Speak the truth, Go To Jail. It's funny though, as much as there were disparaging remarks made about my side of the isle, no one was locked up for it… typical. |

Thankyou for those words Mr Mandela :) |
Just Jack | 05 Jan 2017 10:37 a.m. PST |
"…for expressing my opinion on some things going on in my Country…" You weren't talking about things going on in your country, you were talking about things that exist only in your head. "I don't really give a damn about going to the DH for telling the truth." The truth? Half the country is racist/sexist/homophobe/etc…? That's the truth? That's delusional. "Seems like that's the way most political prisoners are treated Worldwide." Yes, you're virtual stay in the virtual prison must have been terrible. To not be able to post on a toy soldier website? Nooooooooooooooooo!!!! Unbearable!!! Sorry buddy, you're not quite to Mandela's level yet. "It's funny though, as much as there were disparaging remarks made about my side of the isle, no one was locked up for it… typical." More , typical. You weren't dawghoused for the two threads where disparaging remarks were made, they were deleted and no one was dawghoused. You were dawghoused for going to a third thread and continuing to accuse half the country of being racist. I thought the editors were actually quite magnanimous in terms of granting clemency to everyone for those first two threads; you just couldn't help yourself and had to keep it going. It's definitely someone else's fault. EDIT: Dammit, I got aced out again by someone quicker. I thought I was so clever with the Mandela thing… V/R, Jack |

Nice try, jackie… Boy, I really got to you. |
Ceterman | 05 Jan 2017 10:56 a.m. PST |
You're quite welcome Mr. Manley. If ya'll hadn't noticed I wasn't talking to ya'll. I was talking to those who PM'ed me. Not those who I was speaking of. Just sayin… |

I would tell you, but I'd be in again… Okay, done here. Again, I just wanted to thank those who know who they are. |

Sounds like Just Jack pretty much said what got him into the slam. As for me, I'll stick to facing colors and effective ranges. Jack: I think Manley was being ironic. |

Really? A political prisoner? On a privately owned forum? Seems rather pathetic to be describing yourself in those terms. I retired after multiple years watching parts of the world where that really happens and you did not experience that. |

Sorry to lose you, Ceterman, but you broke forum rules and I think you know that… |

Sometimes, there are questions like… 'why is this account locked'… Sometimes… there aren't. (I got locked once. Don't think anyone noticed. Not even sure if Bill noticed and he did it…) |

Vtsao, "Jack: I think Manley was being ironic." Yeah man, I figured. What I mean by 'aced out' is that David beat me to it. "As for me, I'll stick to facing colors and effective ranges." Here, here. V/R, Jack V/R, Jack

Ceterman is engaging in that heart warming ritual of shaking the dust of TMP from his sandals as he curses the town. My old theology professor used to refer to "Jeremiah's jockstrap." I've seen it done better before. The late lamented A E Curtis had it down pat. Even I did a better job. Don't let the door hit you in the….. Ps. I also disagree with you. |

I'll miss his level-headed, well thought out and intelligently presented posts. |

The fanciful hyperbole coming from the media, many politicians, and others is really quite entertaining and over the top. Missed this little dustup, which I suspect is a good thing. |

Well Bill, one would imagine that if all that was wanted was to thank those who PMed, PM replies would have sufficed. This smacked more of standing in the door wanting to have the last word on the way out… |

We should all join in a chorus of "so long, farewell" from Sound of Music in his honor… If my assumption of the offense is correct i have heard more than enough of that of late…. What is the definition of someone who villifies broad groups of people he doesn't like/agree with? |
PrivateSnafu | 05 Jan 2017 7:25 p.m. PST |
We only have more of this to look forward to as we approach the inauguration. In an ironic turn of events the opposition will now buy guns. Yeah! Anyone up for skeet next weekend? |

Just to be clear,he was saying "I'm out of the Dawghouse", not "I'm outta here". Though it seems he is. But that was Bill's decision. |

Err…. Do I want to know what 'gleeked' means or is it better left unexplained on a family-friendly site? |
Editor in Chief Bill | 07 Jan 2017 4:50 p.m. PST |
According to Google: In general, gleeking occurs when an accumulation of saliva in the submandibular gland is propelled out in a stream when the gland is compressed by the tongue. The stream of saliva is released in the general direction of the front of the mouth. |

Mr. Editor- You say "submandibular", I say "submaxillary". Let's say we call the whole thing off. Edit: PS – I'm glad he just made me laugh and spit and not pee my pants. There are some glands that just shouldn't be shared in public. |

There are some glands that just shouldn't be shared in public. Sweetbreads? I'm partial to pancreas. |
