What is the opinion of the e-books available here – link |

I have several copies of the original books but recently bought the updated copy of the Austro-Hungarian army book. It has much more detail and, of course, colour illustrations. Very good value for money i would say. Mick |

Rawkins was one of the first English speaking authors to do deep uniform research in continental archives, and in terms of quality of material they are still very good today. Originally they were published in very small format which made them hard to read. But the info is excellent in the several volumes I have. |

They are absolutely superb and ridiculously good value. They have been extensively revised since they were first published and you will find more detail here than in any other published source I can think of. They appear to be a labour of love and I would say we are lucky to have them (and no, I don't know Mr Rawkins and I haven't got shares in the company). |

another endorsement from me, I started off with the old ones many years ago and have updated to the newer versions for those of the nations that I'm still painting Excellent value |

From what I hear, whoever Mr Rawkins is, he has disappeared. The revisions have been carried out by others – and very much a labour of love (I know one of them). |

Shame they aren't available as actual books- I found the PDF format a bit of a pain. |

The one on the Austrian army is all you need, to this day. The Albert Seaton book was contemporary with the Rawkins and is literally almost wholly useless in comparison – extraordinary really. |

They are an incredible value for the money! I have bought several over the years and one day, will print them up and actually slop some paint on them while doing up a few units. (Yeah, I'm sometimes a sloppy painter when I get excited and in to what I'm doing.) |

Whats the average delay to receive the link after paying ? I bought and paid on the 4th and I'm keen to get my first one before buying more. |
