For Christmas my daughter gave me the new Sudan scenario book by Tim Tilson at Skirmish Wargames. It's terrific. Although the 10 scenarios were designed for a modified The Sword and the Flame they can be easily adapted to other rules. Depending upon our mood, we play one of 4 different sets of rules and these scenarios will be great with all of them. A quick shout out to On Military Matters for outstanding service during what was no doubt a very busy holiday season.
Combined with the fantastic 2016 TSATF Scenario pack I bought late last year from Sergeants 3 we're positively spoiled for terrific Colonial scenarios, especially for campaigns in the Sudan. It even comes with rules for gunboat action!
Many of the scenarios could easily be switched to other settings, i.e. one created for the Sudan could be used in the AZW or the NWF or vice versa.
Both sets of scenarios are very highly recommended!

In the initial post on this book it said Northstar would be selling them in the UK. I contacted Northstar who said this was not correct. Does anyone know who will be selling this in the UK as I'd really like a copy :)

I second Ragbones recommendation. I tried out the El Teb scenario last week as a trial run for testing out TMWWBK and it played out well – and historically, which I always find is good evidence of the author's research and play testing.

Guys – to clarify the books are from SkirmishCampaigns, published as part of the Colonial Campaigns line. The books are just out. Ragbones, I think you got the absolute first copy sent out to anyone.

On Military Matters has them now and I suspect North Star will have them soon.

Cheers!

Just ordered it. I hope that it works for BFEII. I usually find that converting TSATF scenarios to BFE works well with straight up and by multiplying the forces to make larger 'battle' games.
Thanks for the info.
