I like some of your optional rules--DBA 3.0 is our favorite edition by far, and we no longer play DBM, but I miss some of the differentiation available under the DBM rules. |

I like some of your optional rules--DBA 3.0 is our favorite edition by far, and we no longer play DBM, but I miss some of the differentiation available under the DBM rules. Thanks. Yes, I miss some (not all) of the differentiation of DBM. DBA is too generic for an army like the Macedonians or a scenario like this. At the same time, I want to keep the simplicity of DBA as much as possible. The trick is adding the right amount of simple, period specific flavor, if needed. |
