That's pretty funny.

Lots of good feedback, really suspicious price…

Pictors Studio03 Jan 2017 5:43 p.m. PST

That price isn't really that suspicious, those figures typically go for about $13 USD-18 on ebay.

They are park of the Dark Vengeance set, which has been the starter set for 40K for some time. Retail price was $109 USD or something like that when it came out. You got 43 infantry figures, 3 bikes and a dreadnought for that price.

So pricing it out somewhat reasonably you're looking at $20 USD for the dreadnought, say $5 USD each for the bikes, then less than $2 USD a figure for the rest of the stuff.

If you figure that the Characters, of which there are three, are worth a little more, the chaos cultists a little less then the Termies fit right in at a price point of about $2 USD-3 each.

People have a notion that GW is absurdly expensive but to get into GW games it really doesn't have to cost more than many other games.

Yup, there are so many Dark Vengeance boxes out there and these are Dark Angels and not Ultramarines.

So they can be had for cheap.

Oh and they are more than likely not going to be painted.

You would get just the five miniatures.

Well that depends on where you buy their miniatures.

EBAY can be had for cheaper.

GW you will pay though the nose.

I've bought from them before. Exact same item in fact. Received and happy.

"GW you will pay though the nose."

Actually those ebay prices for the individual sets are basically the same as what you would pay if you bought the total set directly from GW. Possibly slightly higher than buying from GW if you got the whole set on ebay.

I find these prices on ebay:

Hellbrute $18 USD
Bikes $22 USD
Chaos Lord $8 USD
Chosen $8 USD
Company master $1 USD
Librarian $3 USD
Space Marines $15 USD
Termies $14 USD
Cultists $32 USD

total: $123 USD and it doesn't include the rulebook, dice etc.

If you bought from GW direct it would be $110 USD and include all that stuff.

I have bought these exact Terminators from this seller. It's all good.
