How well do GZG (and other) figs fit into the sculpted FOW bases? |

You'll need to trim back the base width to fit. They're not a perfect match out of the box, and some of the "holes" won't work at all, but you can plug those (the slots for prone sculpts). |

So GZG fig bases are bigger than FOW fig bases? Just width, or thickness, too? |

It depends on which figure, but the GZG bases, or at least the ones I have (the new sculpts) are wider. I'll be honest, I don't think it would work too well. GZG are larger than BF. The normal, non plus FOW bases are great though. If you can't find FOW ones, PSC make a good version in the same dimensions. |

I tried this when Battlefront switched from flat to detailed bases. None of my 15mm scifi figures (GZG, Rebel, Khurasan, Brigade, Ion Age, and a couple others) fit into the recesses in the new bases; even when removing part of the molded figure plinth, the stance on a number of the models made placing them on the FoW bases look clunky, so I scrapped the idea altogether. |

I would honestly not bother with FOW bases, but if you wanted to use similar shape/size, order laser cut bases, make them from plasticard, or find the older plain FOW bases which I'm sure there are plenty of. |
