I got Rogue Stars yesterday and reading through it was struck by the thought that it'd be good with bigger figures!

My other thought was that as going the other way – to 15mm – halves all distances, it should be ok on an 18" by 18" board.

I think scaling it up for me was a reaction to the level of depth in the game warrants some great depth in the figure. During play I was able to "drop" weapons and change poses.
I just used one of my 3" to the inch rulers for all distances.
