I am planning to paint up some British of the 8th Division, which I believe was a red square. My question is was the Division patch worn on one shoulder or both? Was it worn anywhere else? I am looking at late 1918 time frame

Thanks,

Terry

In answer to Terry's question – divisional patches on both shoulders

Did the bug strike again?

The BUG is always there… in the shadow… waiting… (smile)

Unless Terry checks the Victorian Colonial Board, he is not going to see your answer.

It's cross posted,so maybe he will.

Yes, I saw that it got the bug. I also see that it looks like the answer is both shoulders, which is what I was expecting. I also believe it was common to paint it on both sides of the helmet as well?

Thank you all!

Terry
