I'm sorry, but these are not legal. At least one of the group has to have a drum magazine. You're actually borderline just having four female figures and all of them decently clothed.

Pretty nice, but except for the fact that they're dressed warmly, and three of them have goggles, what makes them sky pirates? Do sky pirates wear jodhpurs?
For that matter, how does sky piracy work actually? I was sort of imagining rappelling down from one Zepp to another. but these ladies aren't dressed for that, and I'd imagine you'd need some special equipment. It must be a difficult career choice since, AFAIK, no one has tried to make a living that way. I suppose hijacking would be an option. Hopefully the gasbags aren't filled with hydrogen.

I like them alot..I know it is cold at altitude. Maybe Sky Pirates land and take people's stuff. Great player Character models.

Not a corset in sight too! OK, not specifically Steampunk…

what makes them sky pirates?

Pretty much the company calls them that, and has them part of a Pulp line. Not that it stops you from using them as you will.

As far as 'zepp to zepp', why are you resticting yourself to just zeps?

Actually, why imagine they are pirates in the old sense? In Pulp, any flying mercenaries might be called 'sky pirates.'

They may be a little limiting, but I think they look nice.

<<what makes them sky pirates?>>

Because they are the spitting image of Cathrine Zeta Jones Air Pirate Band from the movie The Phantom starring Billy Zane. In the movie they flew armed sea planes and forced down the Clipper which they then boarded.

Whoops, missed that.

Thanks, Amalric!

what makes them sky pirates?

Well, let's see. I thing TheBeast and Cotton Eyed Joe have it right. A "pirate" robs/plunders ships at sea, so perhaps a "sky pirate" would rob/plunder pulp aircraft/aeronefs/dirigibles/etc. in the air, as Amalric has graciously pointed out. And if you dabble with alternate pulp genres (as my steampunkish-Victorian Pulp Alley world does) where aeronefs--aircraft that have some kind of anti-gravity system for lift--are the norm, boarding actions could be fairly easy and not require complicated equipment. And piloting a pulp aircraft/aeronef/dirigible/etc. could require warm clothing and goggles, since the last time I checked, the air grows colder as one gains altitude. And firearms might just prove more effective in our PULP gaming worlds than, say, a sword. Although John Carter (a pulp character if there ever was one), usually used a sword to battle Martian sky pirates. Or maybe they descend suddenly from the sky to rob and plunder, or hire their unique services as sky pirate mercenaries. The key here is that these figures were produced for PULP Alley and the subject is posted on the PULP Gaming Message Board, where, in the grand tradition of PULP, just about anything goes.

Artizan has their own (male) set of sky pirates, some of which are here:

But these ladies are just what I'm looking for to make up a Sky Pirate league that I've been experimenting with for some time.

Ordered.

Indeed--I try not to take reality too seriously. In fact Wikipedia mentions on its Air Pirates page that in 1917 German soldiers on the Zeppelin L23 boarded and captured a Norwegian schooner. And of course, the Israelis boarded and captured humanitarian aid ships from helicopters in 2010. So these things are doable--but if I wanted complete "Anything goes" I'd go for fantasy.
