Has anyone tried printing Fat Dragon Games Ravenfell village on A4 size card stock? Their beginners guide says "You will need a supply of white LETTER size card stock" which makes me wonder! |

I honestly think that is just because FDG is US based. |

You need "Letter" sized card stock---for sure you need 8 1/2 x 11 The U.S. common sizes are Letter, Legal, A2 and A6 Here is a link link I can't tell you if Fat Dragon files will let you remove any margins, if so you may be able to print files with full edge to edge printing |

you should be ok. If needed just reduce the size of the image in the print setup by a few percentages. Actually I just checked with some the ravenfall and dragonshire pdfs that I have. I set it them up for A4 size and they will fit. I did not have to reduce the percentage at all it seams. Just make sure you are using Full Bleed setting. |

here s a link to their free downloads: link Not Ravenfell to be sure. However I am fairly confident that if these print out ok so wll Ravenfell. There always seem to e a good bit of margin on the sides. Just be sure to print "actual size" for your test run and see how it goes. Bob |

teboj17: Many US/Canadian publishers put the parts right up to the edges of the printable area, and only consider American sizes, which, when printed at full size on A4, has the parts cut off as the two paper sizes are slightly different shapes. Random Die Roll: It's not usually the file formatting allowing you to change the margins – many printers simply will not allow you to shift the margin closer than 4mm to the edge. |

chironex, I guess, but we are not talking about many Us/Canadian publishers. Just the FatDragon games. And like i said i did tests on some of the ones I have and they do not go the printable area, but thanks again for the unneeded clarification. |
