So basically since day 1, the anti-tank assault in Company Command has been very simple: Attacker gets a +2, lower roll dies.
Simple, brutal and kept the tanks in their proper supporting role.
That being said, it's been a fairly consistent player request to maybe tone it down a bit (except Jack, who probably would have preferred a +8 or something :-) ), so in the spirit of the season, we did just that.
The files are all updated, but basically, infantry now receive a bonus based on how relatively prepared they are.
"Modest" equipment is a +1 while Extensive is a +2.
Improvised units get no bonus and unprepared troops assault at -2.
Attacking a tank that's damaged is a bit easier.
Additionally, winning by only 1 will only damage the tank, rather than destroy it.
On the upside, open-top vehicles are also damaged on a draw now.
