Hey all, I'm working on a 28mm fantasy human army and wanted a fat baron for one of the units in the army. I was curious if anyone knows of any figures of a heavy-set knight in plate armor. I prefer no beard but a bear can be worked with. Thanks, -Eli |

Nice call, though I suppose I am looking less Landsknecht and more Burgundian or War of the Roses. -Eli |

You can work with a bear? How about a pick-er-nick basket? John T |

Too early in armor style. I am going to have to convert this one, I think. -Eli |

There used to be a nice Henry VIII figure in 28mm. Foundry? Not sure about Foundry, bu Copplestone makes one: link Not exactly wearing full plate armour, though. As for other suggestions, the best I could think is the mace-bearing fellow from this set by Mirliton, though he might not be so much fat as just wearing very spacious livery coat:
And here is a link to the product: link Perrys also have a fellow with a similar tabard in plastic: link |

The armour may be too early, but he's fat:

There is also some very portly guys in the GW Brentonian pole-armed plastic box set. |

There is also some very portly guys in the GW Brentonian pole-armed plastic box set. There certainly is one quite well-rounded personality on the command sprue, but he is not really wearing much in the way of armour. Could make for an excellent fat monk, though. |
