British officers shako cords. Are they the same color as the regiments lace? Gold or silver? Finishing 1st and 100th Regiments today and am unsure of this detail.

The cord was gilt and crimson twists for all regiments irrespective of lace colour. At 28mm scale and below I would just paint them gold.
