Yes – more so than the books now too. |

Winston Smith | 27 Dec 2016 12:47 p.m. PST |
Yes. And I think that the HBO series is to be considered canon, with the books to be considered as fan fiction. You had your chance, George. |

Not at all. I wasn't intrigued by the books to begin with, and the show held little interest for me either. |
Thomas O | 27 Dec 2016 1:09 p.m. PST |
Better than the books, so yes. At least the HBO series will come to a conclusion. |
The Beast Rampant | 27 Dec 2016 1:13 p.m. PST |
Yes. I have read the books too, but have lost all respect for GRRM and his coquettish ass-dragging. I don't care if he ever finishes the series- maybe he doesn't, either. |
nnascati | 27 Dec 2016 1:17 p.m. PST |
Yes, never read the books, and doubt if I will. |

It's BRILLIANT. Watch it. Wait til releases on DVD. Watch it again with commentary. |

Yes-Winston, I'm with you. Still would like SG1 to show up and see a Battletech version. |

Never read the books. Never seen the series 'cos I don't have any pay TV. I'm not a fan of fantasy so don't feel like I'm missing out. |
Frederick | 27 Dec 2016 2:29 p.m. PST |
Read some of the books and will probably eventually watch the series – but not yet |
Brian Smaller | 27 Dec 2016 2:33 p.m. PST |
Yes – but also like the books but the tv series is easier to consume – Martin's writing style I find pretty hard to wade through at times. |
Oberlindes Sol LIC | 27 Dec 2016 2:35 p.m. PST |
I've watched the DVDs through the season that ends with the Red Wedding. It's OK, and I'll probably watch more in the future, but I can't call myself a fan. |
Old Peculiar | 27 Dec 2016 2:35 p.m. PST |
Like the books at first, then got bored and annoyed by the contrived plots and mindless cruelty, I just reckon the author had started playing with the readership. Watch the HBO series on DBV as I want to know how the tale ends, but I will not be reading the books. |

Yes. My daughter is 17 years old; this is one of "our things", " Quality times", watching the TV series together. We discuss the events , the character's motivations, she asks me how the TV show differs from the books. At first I was maybe a casual watcher, now I can hardly wait for the next season. |

I watch the series out of interest, but I'm not really a fan. |
jdpintex | 27 Dec 2016 5:36 p.m. PST |
Nope. One of the very few books that I have ever quit. Boring as hell so I gave up after about half way through. No desire to watch the show either. |

Nope. I like parts of it and I respect their monumental achievement, I just find that I'd rather watch a historical drama or a more "fantasy" series instead. |
Buck215 | 27 Dec 2016 8:52 p.m. PST |
Nope. Saw a couple of episodes when HBO offered free showings, but could not get into it. Now we have free HBO for a couple of months and HBO is showing a binge of it. Tried a couple of episodes again, could not relate to it, so I watched "Keanu", instead… |
