So besides the whole crazy french chick moive?

On youtube those few documentaries I find are all about argincourt.

I have heared the older Henry V is better then the newer when it comes to armor?

the period has been greatly overlooked! over 100 years of interesting events, people, and battles, but Agincourt, and St. Joan are all that get any coverage. and its always from the English perspective (except for the Joan stuff, of course). a real shame! needless to say, i have no recommendations.

and st. Joan wasn't a crazy French chick!

Dreyer's silent "Passion of Joan of Arc" about the trial and execution is harrowing and excellent, the best film about her.

Not a film but Bernard Cornwell's Harlequin(Archer's Tale in the US), Vagabond, and Heretic are great reading.

Maurice Druon's novels are far better

Seems pretty crazy to me, if a lot of the claims attributed to her/by her are true.

See if you can find a copy of "The Dark Avenger" with Errol Flynn, was titled "The Warriors" in the USA. One of my favorite medieval movies.

You should also try the first volume of the Hollow Crown (new version) a decent version of Henry V with Tom Hiddleson (Loki).

Outside of the Bard though very few movies seem to be set in the HYW. Few Docs and most not very good.

Maybe someone will try to film a version of Cornwall's Archer stories (which also have some problems).

I got The Hollow Crown for Christmas. Just finished it the other day. As far as acting and costume go it's pretty good, however the battle scenes are severly lacking. Also (and I'm not sure if this is Shakespeare's fault or the Movie Producers fault) but they botched a lot of the history of the WotR. It made it almost unwatchable after seeing them combine the battle of Barnet and the battle of Tewkesbury!

The archer stories were good, but I'm not sure they'd translate well to film.
They don't really GO anywhere.

Maybe as a tv series though?
