When I see photos like this. Brings back what we were taught at the Infantry School. Avoid MOUT if at all possible. We trained for MOUT regardless, and learned how costly it could be. We studied Stalingrad, Berlin, Manila, Jerusalem, etc. All were very costly for all involved. You now can add Aleppo and probably Mosul to that list. As well as possibly Raqqa … And lets not forget Fallujah … |
