Just moving onto a WotR army and having had a commission done beautifully for me by Geoff at CitadelSix I was wondering who carried which banner where amongst all the retinue?
Did the Lord whose retinue it was carry the swallow tail company standard alongside him as well as his personal square standard? Or did he just have his personal square banner beside him, as on the front of the Osprey WotR book?
Would the company standard, the swallow tailed one, be with the main company of his body of men instead, and would that be the largest unit whether it be bills, bows or MAA, or automatically the MAA if there were any? Or is this an area where there isn't much definite knowledge and information and it is up to the modeler to decide for themselves?

Peter Pig have packs of WOTR flags(15mm). The PP ones are generic which allows the units to be used for either side and not be tied to a specific action.
WOTR is a great period to play, hope you enjoy it.
