This is an ANC soldier from Congo(under Lumumba) 1960. I would be grateful for any recommendation where I can find a miniature in a similar uniform (the head and the weapon aside, I can convert that)

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately Britannia are a bit off in size and style compared to the Mongrel, TAG and Warlord stuff. I will be using. I was hoping to find some WW2 miniature that would be in something similar?

Looks to be British Army Battledress with an American head. You would need to add the skirt to the jacket and he appears to only have one basic pouch aka Bren Mag pouch which were usually issued in pairs (or the artist forgot to paint in the top of the pouch as there is a bottom but no top on the left side).

So you could use whatever manufacturers plastic box sets that have separate heads and come in British European and US flavours. I think Warlord have/had separate metal heads for US figures too, so you would only need to buy plastic British Infantry and metal US heads.

TAG sell separate SLR's and Sterlings for conversion work.

Thanks bsrlee, adding the skirt seems like a challenge…no British uniforms with longer coat?
