So I gave money to the Kickstarter of Kingdome come Deliverance back in 2014 I think. I gott my access to the Alpha and beta. I played the alpha a little, to test the combat, very complex and looks good(and very hard)

I haven't played the beta at all, because. 1. it seems to take story from the main game and I didn't want any spoilers. And 2. the beta is not optimized and the FPS is horrible

But I'm in a serious Medieval mood(wanting those claymore figures!) So I thought I'd give it a go. I have most graphical settings on low/medium so it looks far from it's best. I can't say if the game will end up being good, they havn't updated the beta in over a year. So it's not very representative of the actual game.

But I can say even in low/medium the game is beautiful. It looks ok, when I ride among the meadows. But I I went into the forest to hunt some game. And was struck by the realism and beauty. Even tho my lighting effects are on medium and post porssesing ect is on low. The way the light shown through the canopy. Or how small spots on the forest floor gets it's lighting it was quite striking.

I'm doubtful if I can play this on max settings even when the finished game comes out. as the Cry engine is a beast. But I'm sure I can crank it up alot.

So even if the game turns out crap in gameplay and story. It will be a beautiful piece of crap.
