I'd heard that after a rough patch JR Miniatures was up and running again, and, indeed, their Web page is fully operational. I placed an order in early October, was billed via PayPal, and then heard nothing. Messaged the company, and heard nothing. Now I'm in PayPal dispute resolution. Which is all sad, since I was fond of their terrain, especially their vinyl roads/streams. Just a heads up to others. -- Hans

The original owners sold it a few years back, and now have a new operation under the name Novus Design Studio. They are still making and selling some damn fine kit.

Shaw Mead of Golden Distribution is who purchased JR Miniatures from us and Shaw is now attempting to sell the company.

The following is from an email that Shaw sent yesterday and that was forwarded to us:

"JR Minis is currently shutdown, the management left and the factory is empty. They are looking to sell. We bought up the last of their inventory, so unless someone takes over there is no more restocks."

Maybe you can contact Shaw and he can ship you what you ordered. goldendist.com

Odd that Shaw is speaking in 3rd person when he is the owner of JR Minis.
