What figs do you use for gaming Star Wars in 25/28mm. How expensive are they. My wife showed an interest after Rogue One, thinking of getting her some figs. |

WEG makes them, or used to. The Clix figs are about 32mm, and come prepainted, though they're getting harder to find/acquire now. Hopefully, the new movies will result in similar, new releases of minis in one or both these scales, for reasonable prices. |

There's also the figures with Imperial Assault. (Nice but expensive). The WestEnd Games figures are long out of production. The WoTC plastic collectibles (not Clix) are also out of production but may be availabilite on eBay. There are nott a lot of good options at this point. |

Imperial Assault is the current product for Star Wars miniature gaming. It is roughly scale compatible with the OOP Wizards of the Coast Star Wars minis. Of the latter, their are tons of auctions on ebay for these from clone era to empire to now defunct future. In addition to the vehicles in tge WOTC line (AT-AT, AT-ST, Snowspeeder, etc.), some of the Galoob Action Fleet toys can fill in the empty spots X-Wings, Y-Wings, Tie Fighters, etc. |

I would look for batches of the WOTC plastic figures as the option that is least likely to get expensive. They sometimes come up in big batches o ebay. Not sure of exact scale but seems close enough to "true 25" |

If you go to conventions the WotC ones usually pop up for sale. |

Revel had some models that work close enough with the pre-paints – AT-AT, Millenium Falcon, X-Wings and TIEs. |

Imperial Assault figures, using the the Imperial Assault skirmish rules that come with the main game. |

WOTC figs are not true 25mm. I wish they were. The Imperial Assault figs are beefier and taller than WOTC figs. Thanks John |

I've used a mix of minis for Star Wars… Of course, for a while my main Star Wars setting was one that pulled, essentially, a reverse KotOR and jumped ahead in the timeline a few thousand years using the Dreamforge Eisenkern as their current Imperial Trooper due to the similarity to Stormtroopers, Clonetroopers, and Skytroopers…as well as the various white armored forces of TOR… |

Yea, the WOTC Clix minis are more like 32mm to their eyes. |

Appreciate the correction Leahy. |
