A review of the Calpe Miniatures website ( calpeminiatures.co.uk ) … or the relevant post on my most humble of blogs ( link ) will reveal … - a Saxon Divisional Command pack of 4 men + 4 horses
- two Saxon Brigade Command packs each of 3 mounted figures
- and for good measure a remodelled Saxon mounted musketeer officer pack of 4 mounted figures. This has been a public service broadcast. 8O) Salute

Monsieur Kiwpete, Awesome! I'll need to get some to general my, wait for it, Westfalia Saxons! Sacrilege I know but when you're as old as me you can't wait forever for gaps in ranges to be filled! I've already bought some Westfalian Saxon artillery and gunners too, including limbers and a siege mortar. All really excellent. Westfalia and Calpe are both great figures and I wish they'd coordinate their efforts as there remain gaps for those wanting a quality Saxon army! Still 2017 may fill them all! Still holding my breath for the release of Westfalia Saxon limber horse riders and light cavalry. Maybe (please!) for SALUTE? Cheers, Paul |
