If you're only going to watch one Pia Zadora movie — it's Voyage of the Rock Aliens =^,^=

@Hafen, this is true. And Voyage of the Rock Aliens shines because it is largely a feature-length music-video.

Winston Smith19 Dec 2016 10:57 p.m. PST

I can't begin to wonder how I missed any of these!

Narratio20 Dec 2016 12:07 a.m. PST

Afraid my total knowledge of Pia Zadora comes from old re-runs of 'Night Court' where Harry the judge has some scathing comments to make about her lack of talent.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. MST3K version. It also has Jamie Farr from MASH in it – uncredited but it has to be him or his identical twin brother. And the Doorman from the Jeffersons, and somebody from Sesame Street too.

"The Lonely Lady" cause, you know, she was naked in it.

Pia who?

jowady20 Dec 2016 10:46 a.m. PST

What was the movie that her Husband/Sugar Daddy bought her the Golden Globe for (evidently an Oscar was just too expensive)?

Crow Bait20 Dec 2016 12:14 p.m. PST

Butterfly wasn't that bad.

Thank you for a unique literary moment. I'm not aware that the term Pia Zadora and best have ever appeared in the same sentence, at least in English.

John the Greater20 Dec 2016 1:31 p.m. PST

"The Lonely Lady" cause, you know, she was naked in it.

I think she was in "Buttefly", too. Or that memory may come from a malarial dream.

If only they would have made a series of movies with Pia Zadora and Bo Derek that would have been like Alien vs Predator.

Cyrus the Great20 Dec 2016 10:24 p.m. PST

"Butterfly" and "The Lonely Lady".

@McKinstry, it is always a pleasing moment to think that one might have uttered a uniquely new sentence.

Hell comes to frogtown was featured on one of my favorite podcasts recently. Google "Hell Comes To Frog town" and "How did this get made".. worth a listen.

I ran into her last year here in Las Vegas. She's now a hateful little gnome. She's also responsible for the cancellation of G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling). Her millionaire husband was bankrolling the operation until she got jealous of the wrestlers and made him pull out.

"Her millionaire husband was bankrolling the operation until she got jealous of the wrestlers and made him pull out."

Well, that's not a happy ending.

capncarp05 Jan 2017 8:15 p.m. PST

It sometime comes to that, though.
