Can any native Virginians confirm that grass is THAT lush and green in the South? :)

But these posts continue to inspire and impress. I might have to bury my copy of 'Introduction to Battlegaming' before I give in and get all silly for 20mm ACW and rules as old as I am…

I'm a dam Yankee moved to VA 42 years ago and stayed. Grass is usually Bermuda dark green with a lot of brown during the dry mid summer. But for the last 3 years it has been dark green all summer long, plenty of rain.

I used to melt them from the bottom with a hot flat edge screwdriver heated with a match. ha Forgot all about that

Wow, does that green get a lot of commentary…

In the day, the two base colours were dark green and lime green. Both in gloss. I went for the lime for my table top and figures as it made them "pop".

Happier times
