Hi there,

we just published on our website a WSS mini-campaign, Campagna sul Tanaro, designed for play with Neil Thomas' One Hour Wargames rules. But you can play it with any rules really – and for all horse & musket periods really..

It's not complicated not long, it's just a way to play 3-4 battles which make sense altogheter. And it's in English. Download it at

Very nice. This could be a nice "step down" from our Franco-Prussian campaign with Bloody Big Battles, 12 or 13 battles.

Thanks.

PS the epilogues are hilarious!

I'm going to try a game or three tonight. I'll let you know how it goes. I think this is a pretty clever way to do a low investment (in time) campaign.

Great, let me know how it goes (and if M. D Estocasse or Castelpjstola survive…). Are you going to use 1HW or other rules?

Honestly the idea of playing 3 games in a row as a campaign is included in the ruleset. Then I said, why not choose 3 scenarios that make sense if played one after the other?

Then I said, why not choose scenarios that make sense depending from who wins the previous scenario? Like, if the attacker wins the first game, the second will be a desperate defense.. If the defender wins the first game, the second will be a counterattack..

Not really rocket science, just a way to to play a coherent story
