I viewed it once on YouTube. Some great shots of the T-34/85 in action, especially against a Stug III concealed in a ruined building in an abandoned village. The "Ghost" Tiger looked like some kind of mock-up based on an existing chassis. The plot was a bit odd, but interesting. An inspiring film, but I don't believe I'd purchase a personal copy, even if on sale.

I've seen it and like dB said it's interesting but I probably wouldn't buy it for myself. Freaky when they find the driver the first time in his t-34.

A bit like that Thin Red Line movie in that there are some surreal sequences. The ending seemed rushed with an odd scene with Generals/officers that seemed out of place with the rest of the movie.

Seen this on YouTube quite some time ago.

The Tiger mocked up on a T34 chassis is fairly well known about.

Not sure what the Russian tank on the DVD cover is.

As above…Some good shots of the T34 in action but the Tiger is all wrong and the story is bizzare…And kind of peters out at the end.

Is the tigers name Moby Dick?

That's about the right question to ask.

Seeing the T-34 in action is kind of cool. Seeing the scenes in the muddy streets of an abandoned village might be inspiring to wargamers. But the rest is rather cheesy to me, some kind of obsessive hunt for the great white whale … cough cough ahem … I meant great white tank.

Whether it's a Russian mechanized remake of Moby Dick, or a Russian mechanized remake of Enemy at the Gates with some Moby Dick tossed in, I don't know. And I don't care.

The whole thing is available on YouTube. Watch it there first. If you decide you just gotta have a DVD of your very own, then by all means go right ahead.

Watched it on You Tube last night: the equipment scenes were outstanding; the plot was interesting until the last act where it takes a strange and bizarre turn.

The ending with 'Hitler' talking while interesting as a scene makes no sense in terms of a plot point to the film.

I enjoyed wathing it but would not purchase it.

Not sure what the Russian tank on the DVD cover is.

Looks like a mish mash of T-55 turret on a T-64 hull…

And one of the characters should have been called Ishmael…
