Some non-U.S. companies, such as Eureka and Battlefront, have U.S. offices to service their U.S. customers.

Which additional non-U.S. company do you wish would open a U.S. office?

daler240D17 Dec 2016 12:40 a.m. PST

Don't care at all where any company is based, I would just really like for the modern economies and governments to straighten out the horrendous situation with international shipping of a small package. The talk of "Free trade" in western countries is a joke.

gavandjosh0217 Dec 2016 2:37 a.m. PST

I concur with daler. Any company that would ship figs/terrain to Australia at a reasonable price.

keithbarker17 Dec 2016 3:19 a.m. PST

Shouldn't the question really be….

Company You Wish Would Open an EU Office?

grin

Otherwise I concur with daler! Providing of course that his statement isn't considered to be politics *tease*

the postage of course is beyond our control, although the way it is packed can make a small difference.
with bexit looming we may all find our favouruite toys being harder or dearer to get.

I never have gotten figures from a foreign supplier so there is that. (And see some Eureka figures I want)
Nothing against it just never have done it.

I miss Dixon not having a US "stockist."

jeffreyw317 Dec 2016 7:12 a.m. PST

Perry, Gripping Beast, Front Rank, 4Ground.

Wackmole917 Dec 2016 7:40 a.m. PST

The Main problem is most postal services in the world are terrible. That why we have so many for profit shippers.

Whitewolf3617 Dec 2016 7:40 a.m. PST

Kallistra for here in the US.

I second Kallistra as it is the only way to get Hexon without brutal shipping charges.

For helpful friendly service and shipping saving, Eureka USA does set a high bench mark!

Baueda would be great to have over here.

Shagnasty Supporting Member of TMP17 Dec 2016 8:07 a.m. PST

I second jeffreyw3. Dixon 15s are super.

Dale Hurtt17 Dec 2016 8:56 a.m. PST

Kalistra is the one product I have never purchased because of the brutal shipping charges also.

Kevin C17 Dec 2016 9:11 a.m. PST

Redoubt, Orinoco, and Outpost (for their Mexican Revolution range).

PJ ONeill17 Dec 2016 9:29 a.m. PST

2nd Kalistra

rustymusket17 Dec 2016 9:34 a.m. PST

Perrys and Foundry for me. At least Perrys can be purchased from a US retailer.

wrgmr117 Dec 2016 9:51 a.m. PST

Front Rank

keithbarker17 Dec 2016 10:04 a.m. PST

I love my Kalistra stuff. Its so much heavier than a few figures, so I can see how having a US distributor would really help there

For the record, I stock Baueda at ScaleCreep.com here in the US of A.

Perry is readily available from US dealers, as are 4Ground and Foundry. I thought Redoubt had a US retailer as well (Triangle out of NC?)

Kallistra x10. The shipping is a deal killer.

The Man With Two Bryans17 Dec 2016 12:18 p.m. PST

I concur with daler. Any company that would ship figs/terrain to Australia at a reasonable price.

For some of us It is actually cheaper to ship to Australia than it is to receive from Australia. Count yourself lucky.

jeffreyw317 Dec 2016 12:34 p.m. PST

Yes, everyone I mentioned, save GB, has a US "stockist," but most items that I get, beyond plastics, tend not to be in stock.

Disco Joe17 Dec 2016 12:41 p.m. PST

Mark, Triangle doesn't carry Redoubt. I would like to see someone carrying Redoubt along with Dixon.

Hafen von Schlockenberg17 Dec 2016 12:46 p.m. PST

14Bore--Eureka does have a US office:

eurekaminusa.com/pages/contact

For me,Ebor,if the figures would still be available for the same low prices, especially the unit and brigade deals. That would give even Old Glory a run for their money.

Lord Hollier07 Jan 2017 2:36 p.m. PST

Interesting answers, but I would be interested in what people expect would be different if these vendors had a US stockist/distributor/office? (in order of importance)

Weasel07 Jan 2017 5:18 p.m. PST

Faster shipping, since customs can't randomly hold up the package.
Of course you have to balance that against things occasionally not being in stock.

jeffreyw307 Jan 2017 5:41 p.m. PST

Much faster and cheaper shipping.
