Pictures of a game with the above mentioned figures. Similar to my previous effort with the Punic War figures – not the best brushwork in the world but hopefully an example of how you can use cheap figures and simple quick painting techniques to give a 'good enough' effect for a game. I really like these HaT figures – although made in a strange very soft plastic I feel they are highly evocative of the troops displayed in the Standard of Ur and the Stele of the Vultures and depict their subject very well – all for just a few pence a figure. There are also some Caesar mini's running around as tribal auxiliaries and again I think they are top notch figures. Durrati – try a -1 modifier per 5 casualties. It reduces the amount of damage a unit can do as it suffers hits. |
