Hi all
My one unit from Lucca and Piombino that probably never existed much beyond paper. But hey – I liked it. Many thanks to Virtualscratchbuilder who posted me a baker's dozen of spare Perry Carabinier heads from Denton, Texas to rural New Zealand.

Hope you like this odd looking unit. Lots more pics (and check out my custom casualty base for this unit) at:

I only sliced my fingers twice with the craft knife making these as well.

Excellent work, an idea I might copy at some stage!

I was intrigued to learn of the Boney connection during last year's holiday in Lucca (beautiful place and, at least, as picturesque as Sienna.

Dying to ask. Whether a "fictional" unit or not…….how have you rated them? They certainly look smart (and the conversion work is truly inspired) but "can they fight"?

I really like them!

Deadhead – I would probably rate them as plain old Italian Line infantry. Maybe to fluff them up a bit give them Elite 5+ (as far as Black Powder rules go.

Fluff them up…this is fantasy and they are an inspired piece of work
