Can anyone suggest a good source for AWI Lee's Partizan Legion figures in 15mm? I need both cavalry and infantry figures. I've checked both Old Glory and Blue Moon, but neither appears to have them. Thanks. |

The cavalry would be almost identical to British Legion figures. |

In 15mm, you might be able to use MINIFIGs or Battle Honours Wars of the French Revolution figures in Tarelton Helmets, painted as AWI Lee's Partisan Legion. |

Peter Pig has nice 15mm foot and mounted in Tarleton helmet headgear. |

FreiKorps (QRF/Total System Scenic) make them in 15mm, both mounted and dismounted cavalry and foot, all with command: link |

Lee's Legion and British Legion were dressed so similarly that there were instances where one was mistaken for the other. And with what wargamers might consider humorous results. I doubt the victims thought it was funny though.
My 28mm figures see double duty as either one. I got a pack of British Legion foot figures from Old Glory and will also use them as either. So, if you see either foot or mounted British Legion in a range you like, use them. |

I seem to recall the uniforms of the British Legion were rather unclear. Not sure what Lee's foot soldiers wore. The Tarleton helmet never struck me as very practical headwear. I guess it affords some protection, but I'm not sure how well it would be to wear it while on foot. |

As for the headgear of the foot troops: no one knows for sure and helmets sure looks cool. |
