Apologies to Jon at GZG – but I do still like GZG's remote turrets, sensor domes, drones, 6mm animae-inspired walkers….

Not being being blessed with a bits box that that can seemingly furnish an armoured platoon at the drop of a hat and not having much time or skills to fabricate stuff entirely from scratch I like buying bits. Finally picked up a selection of Brigade Models 15mm vehicle accessories. GZG speed delivery (which leads me to wonder about just how whenever I've ordered from either supplier they always seem to have what I want in stock on the shelf – have they a small captive sandworm for spice enough to see what future customers want?)

Picked up hatches, sensors, remote weapons mounts, pintle mounted gatlings and wheels! All metal (I kind'a though the wheels would be resin for some reason), excellent and pretty reasonsable in price. The pintal mount is on the small side for bigger 15's like Ion Age. Some time ago I picked up a collection of built Airfix tanks, for the turret off a Scorpion to build this…

This left me with a Chieftain, a Patton, and three Sheridan's with serious deficiencies in the track and road wheel department.

I figured that attempting to reinstate the tracks on the Sheridans, which have quite a sci-fi feel to them, would be a serious challenge my skills, time and patience. But I thought they might look okay on wheels and so Brigade's inclusion of wheels in their accessories range is most welcome. Certainly makes buying up kit graveyards on ebay a viable way of getting cheap armour.

Between GZG and Brigade we are well blessed for these kind of extras and additional components.

We live in a golden age etc etc.

Plenty of other places on the site to mine for DIY gold, including the spaceship area.

With Imperial Skies reinvigorating interest in flying ironclads, don't forget he does very useful 'bitz' amongst his Aeronef line, as well. Under 'Nef Accessories.'
