Hello everyone, I'm looking for resources regarding the military forces, weapons and strategies of the south-east asian empires: Khmer, Malay, Vitnam and Burma. Can you recommend any literature? If you know a miniatures manufacturer that covers this range in 20-28mm, that would also very much be appreciated. Kind regards, Yeosol |

There are several publishing companies in the area that are in English. You can also request titles through the library loan program which is what I use. |

Foundry has a great book on 19th century Southeast Asia, covering the armies, uniforms, and wars of Burma, Siam, Cambodia, Vietnam. Lots of black and white drawings of soldiers with descriptions then of colors of clothing, etc. Excellent read but no use for ancients. |

Hello GrumpyOldMan Thanks for letting me know about the link. I'm glad I downloaded all the pages. I'm (slowly) retyping them as text (partly as practice in typing but also, so I read it), Links on my web page: link (which wasn't loading yesterday – I don't know why). But, if you are interested I could zip the directory … Cheers SleepyDragon |
