Swordfish pilot Lt Cdr John ‘Jock' Moffat – credited with launching the torpedo which crippled the Bismarck in 1941 – has died at the age of 97.

P.S. The more I read about it the more impressed I am by the 'Stringbag.' Obsolete only if you look at equipment in terms of raw speed and other 'hard' data.
