I received a lot of great responses to my former query about Battletech Mechs, but now I have a question about stats. Iron Wind produces the current metal figures for the game, but they do not come with statistics. Where can I find the Stat Cards and or Record Sheets associated with the Mech Units I select? Any advice on online sites or books for units other than those units that come in the box sets. Iron Wind also appears to be selling units not yet on their site, such as Copperhead. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for Alpha Strike or Classic Battletech stats?

The Stats come mostly in the "Technical Readout" series of books. There is one or more for each era (in some cases nearly each decade) of the Battletech universe. If that's not enough there are a ton of mini-Technical Readout PDF's that cover variant mechs for individual factions and specific eras. These can be purchased online from Catalyst Games or Wargames vault

As for the Record sheets themselves, they can be purchased ready-to-print from the same sources listed above or you can input the stats into the free program MegaMek and print out watever you want. You can also customize the mechs in that program.

There are several other online programs that let you do the same. Some of these might include all the stats you need from the Technical readout books, some will not.

I am looking for Alpha Strike stats for mechs other than the ones that come in the introductory materials.

Edward, try this: masterunitlist.info

Using the button in the mid-upper right corner will get you here:

The options listed above by others are certainly valid for BattleTech, but in general terms they will not get you the Alpha Strike cards you desire.

Yep, the Master Unit List is what you want for Alpha Strike. Nearly every unit in the BT cannon is there plus the option to make your own custom units.

In fact, I would recommend printing out the cards on the Master Unit List even for the mechs listed in the Alpha Strike Rulebook.. I'm not completely sure, but I think the MUL cards reparesent a more recent and more accurate way of figuring out the "Battle value" points system than that used in the Alpha Strike rulebook which is just a decimal point rounding of their Battletech Battle Values.

I discovered this when we were playing Alpha Strike (using rebased mechwarrior clix) and there seemed to be a distinct imbalance between my forces (made with the first generation of Battle Values) and my opponents which had been made much more recently.

Enjoy, Alpha Strike is a ton of fun!
