Does anyone know a source of 28mm model buildings suitable for a small 1920s/1930s airport (civilian, *not* military)? This might be hangars, ticket office/waiting rooms, cargo sheds or anything else that you think is appropriate.

Yes, I know that a real hangar would probably be *huge*. How about a semi-relief frontage for the edge of the table instead – do they exist?

Any suggestions would be welcome,

Hugh

O gauge model railway accessories might provide some of the parts. For the hanger try looking for photos and use them as a guide to make a frontage.

Yes, check out the O guage – Plasticville makes both the tower and the hanger.

Sally 4th has a mall, bar, and warehouse that all could work with some dressing up as the main ticket office and waiting area of a pulp airport.

Hmm, the Plasticville stuff is just the ticket – but it's almost unobtainable and/or fiercely expensive in the UK. Is there anything else?

Numerous companies now do laser cut mdf 28mm scenery, just google it and have a browse, pretty sure I saw some usable items when I was looking the other day, I'll see if I can find out where and link it.

Designed for the 70s but would probably work fine for 20s or 30s as well:

Plasticville sets highly recommended. Used them in a couple of my set ups.

If you don't mind making up your own, have a look at this site link
You might find the "Psychoscarepy Building adaptable for an airport building. Its in the Paper Model Purgatory section.
I made it up as the "Office of Secret Scientific Stuff"for 28mm Pulp.
Cheers

P.S. Lot of other good stuff in there as well!
