I don't think that El Cid historically ever fought against (or for) Ottomans. As for trebutchet munitions, I still prefer giant wooden rabbits. |

I wonder if anyone has used it to throw modern munitions? Would it be possible to make a super-cheapo mortar? Warsaw military museum has on display a small catapult that was built by Polish resistance for the purposes of lobbing hand grenades. I have no idea what range it had, but it was small enough to be portable by a man or two. |
