The After Action Report/ Keepsake Booklet for "the Weekend" 2016 is printed and mailed. It is, again, 48 pages, full color, with battle reports and game articles from the convention in June of this year. Anyone interested in getting a copy can receive a copy for $12 USD for postage and printing by sending it to me at Otto Schmidt 1031 Stillwater Rd. Newton N.J. 07860. We are sorry we have to charge this but it's the best deal we could get and covers printing and postage and we make money off it. If you want to download it electronically as a series of JPEGS you can find it at one of our two Yahoo Groups, either "The Society of Daisy" or "The Weekend."
This years book contains battle reports of all the games we had at the convention, the kick-off dinner, raffles, drawings, flea-market, and the activities of the "wimminfolk" in wandering around the Amish Outlettery emporiums of Lancaster. We also have an article on game expansion cards for Avalon History's Game "History of the World" and several other articles.
Also going out is the December 2016 issue of the Quarterly newsletter of the Society of Daisy "Saxe N' Violets." This quarterly publication is also full color and is the equivalent of 16 pages long. In this issue is
"The Battle of Stollen" A Battle Report as Documentary History, containing the contentious correspondence between Faustus the Grump of Bad Zu Wurst, and his brother Humberto commander at that battle.
"A campaign methodology Concept" Which is a full map for a campaign between five Imagi-Nations on a world wide scale and complete rules for the same.
"LPS- The Silent Menace to Wargamer's Health"
"Christmas Down at the Train and Game" A story of what happens when the denizens of our gaming club put on a Christmas Show at the local historical Society."
Subscriptions to "Saxe N' Violets are $10 USD a year, again just to cover postage and printing costs.
