Team Yankee really can be fast and furious – especially if platoon morale rolls are poor – some pics of my latest game here: link

Another great AAR (with great models and scenery). Always enjoy reading your stuff….you almost repeat almost convince me to get into Team Yankee, but I'm not there, yet! |

Great looking game. How long (in real time) did the two turn game last? |

That is a fabulous table. I found that game was SO decisive it was just over too darn quick. So we switched to Fistful of TOWs. Plays fast but you can actually play a game where NATO falls back to second positions… |

Two turn game. That happened to me in a Mid War FOW tournament, not fun. |

Looks beautiful, but probably another reason I will be using different rules. |

Beautiful table! Shame about the bad dice, though… |

Wonderful. A visual feast. I like all that you have done. |

Thanks for the kind comments. The game took around 90 mins to play, as there was a lot going on in each turn! Terrific fun, and the deadliness felt realistic! |

Indeed, Sparker, your table and minis are absolutely amazing! I think "two turns" probably doesn't matter that mauch? Looked like plenty of action (can't believe all four Su-25s got shot down, though! Ouch!). Thanks for posting. V/R, Jack |

Beautiful looking table. I just played against West Germans and was annihlated in 3 turns. I am still in a state of shock. My games against US forces were never so lopsided. |

Boooo! On the 2 turn game. But the models & table are inspirational. Thanks for sharing! |

My gaming group has started to experiment with unlocking reserves based on objectives or events and starting a bit smaller. Many more turns and interacting gameplay, but I've never felt it's over in 2 turns. Thanks for sharing that is an awesome table and miniatures. |

Fower Wun Seven You always 'set a great table' and AAR. But I have to say.. Thats a 'totally' new record for any game of TY Ive ever seen or even heard of. I have never seen a game yet, that ever last more than Four turns.. but 2? Wow. Just goes to show, One Yr, a local Game Con had the theme on their promo-shirts, still the best I have ever heard, "Dice Beat Tactics" Id say this game is pretty good proof When the dice "turn on you"… games over. 4-1-7 I been meaning to ask you. The "Flame n' smoke" markers you use, are Litko, right? If so, do you use the "Small, Med. or Large" markers? Im working on doing WL's Tank War in 15mm, and trying to decide which would be the best, what you use seems to be "the ones" for 15mm. Thanks Jack |
