The wife and I played the third round of our Chain of Command Old Hickory campaign a couple days ago. So far this campaign has went back and forth which surprised me as I thought the germans had all the advantages going into it. With their three platoons to my one platoon divided between 3 fronts. This game we started to notice just how open some of the boards are and as we personally use a lot of terrain it took some getting use to. Anyway here is the full report

Enjoy!

Nice battle report. It looks like the US made the mistake of deploying too quickly rather than waiting until the Germans were more exposed and vulnerable.

Always nice to hear of another wargaming couple!

Bates you nailed it on the head. I exposed my troops hoping to overwhelm a squad quickly and it cost me the day. It is a lesson learned

Very nice Phil, made me get my copy of Old Hickory out and thumb through it again.
